As part of the celebrations for the Solemnity of St. Jospeh the Ratisbonne Salesian community celebrated the diaconal ordination of the Salesian of Don Bosco Carlos Arturo Ochoa.  The ordaining bishop was papal nuncio for Israel, Archbishop Antonio Franco.  This was his first diaconal ordination.  In his homily the archbishop exhorted Carlos and all the students present to become more conformed to Jesus Christ as they move on to priesthood.  Deacon Carlos offered a short thanksgiving before the final blessing of the Mass.  After the liturgical celebration there was a reception with food and music.
