The word spoken by the Word has power to raise the dead and heal the paralyzed.  It was with these sentiments that the Provincial, Fr. Maurizio Spreafico, set the context for the bestowing of the Ministry of Lector on Brs. Emanuel Ajah and Paul Turay.  They have now been designated the special role of both cherishing the Word of God in scripure for themselves and simultaneously passing it on to those for whom they work.

Following the reading of the Gospel, Paul and Emanuel knelt before the Provincial, placed their hands on a Holy Bible as the they heard the words....

In the spirit of celebration, the Rector, Fr. Francis dispensed the community from morning house chores.  Truly a festive day!
