Olive Harvesting Betgemal

Today the community of Ratisbonne took a coach to Bet Gemal.  It was the annual olive picking day.  From the morning until evening the students picked, raked and climbed about 20 trees for olives.  The rector of Bet Gemal, Fr. Tony, provided the students with cookies, juice, yogurt and soft drinks as a mid day snack.  After all the work was done he treated the community to a large meal in the community refectory.  On the way back to Jerusalem many of the students slept after a well earned day of work.
