Today the whole community of Ratisbonne had a relaxing outing.  First a visit was made to the small town of Neve Shalom.  The town was founded by Dominican Father Bruno Hussar. Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam is a cooperative village of Jews and Palestinian Arabs of Israeli citizenship. The village is situated equidistant from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv-Jaffa.  There the community heard a talk about the peace strategies used and a tour of the village.  The village is built on property of the Latrun Monastery.
Next, Mass was celebrated in Tel Aviv at St. Anthony's Church. 
In the afternoon the community spent an enjoyable day at the beach.
